In most instances we often just look at ageing in one dimension, which is the representation in time and how many years you have been alive.
However, in reality, a multitude of aspects such as diet, stress
, exercise
, sleep
and environment
will affect the rate at which we age.
Muhdo Health understands that we all come with a set of genetic predispositions but according to our lifestyle
and environments
those same predispositions are either diluted or accentuated through a process called Epigenetics.
Epigenetics is the intersection’ between genetics, nutrition
, and environment
and how diet
, micronutrients, exercise
and sleep
can all change the expression of our genes.
Over the course of the last 8 years, we have identified key nutrients and lifestyle
interventions from 1000’s of time-stamped and series epigenetic
samples, as well as real-time health and fitness data
which have shown clear correlations for their positive effect on reducing biological age.
Understanding health can be an extremely complex task if you don’t have all of the pieces of the health puzzle together in one place.
The first area that we wanted to try and better understand, and possibly correlate was illness (of any metric) per month with biological age.
