Muhdo Health are delighted to be part of the PREDICTOM and Horizon study with regards to genetic and epigenetic markers surrounding the development of Alzheimer’s, which is titled:
“Improve access to existing and discover new biomarkers for early detection of cognitive decline”
This aims to develop novel biomarkers for extracting the most relevant features for the early diagnosis/prediction of Alzheimer’s.
Muhdo Health have already developed a data analytics research platform that connects and interrogates our entire dataset of over 30,000 DNA test results and 8,000+ epigenetic test results with data collected from lifestyle tracking and health questionnaires to better understand which lifestyle and environmental factors have the most positive effect on our genes.
The whole team are extremely proud and excited to be part of such a fantastic project to showcase the importance of epigenetics for illness and disease prevention.
Epigenetics is the intersection’ between genetics, nutrition, and environment and how diet, micronutrients, exercise and sleep can all change the expression of our genes.
Muhdo is designed to equip and empower people to manage their health proactively, while helping to reduce the risk of more serious conditions developing, putting the power in their hands.
Our efforts are focussed on improving the gap between life and health expectancy with epigenetic science and AI helping to identifying the best pathways to maintain and improve our health and making us as active in our 80’s as we were in our 40’s and 50’s, as well as preventing future illness.
Combining both internal & external data points with the synergy of biology and technology will give Muhdo Health the most accurate and comprehensive account of how you are ageing.
